Old Androids Never Die, They Just Have A Few Screws Loose

Infinicolor

Infinicolor is a coloring book application that supports CBZ-formatted books and also can generate abstract artwork to color, similar to what you'd find in an adult coloring book. It was originally constructed for Christina Carpenter's art projects and then opened up for universal development.

Coloring Book supports opening and coloring in art books published in the CBZ format. Note that not all books in this format will be usable; a proper coloring book with black-and-white line drawings is recommended. The app will open any CBZ, though.

The app is currently in development and is not feature complete. The currently supported features include

  • flood fill coloring
  • pen based coloring, with variable size pens
  • load and save work in progress
  • open CBZ formatted book files
  • generate abstract artwork by drawing random shapes
  • generate spirograph-style artwork by drawing lines at fixed turns
  • generate fractal-style artwork by drawing rectangles that rotate and multiply outwards
