Gnome 3 Header Bar + Unity = OK

January 1, 2017

Are your Gnome 3 apps that use the GtkHeaderBar putting the buttons on the wrong side under Unity, and it's ugly?

Open up dconf-editor and set the value in org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout to 'close, minimize, maximize:' Make sure to put the colon at the end, and no spaces between anything!

This will swap the buttons to the correct side for them to look right in Unity, and doesn't require using gtk3-nocsd, which breaks Steam.
